Apple Pies
It's time to think Apple Pies at First
Lutheran. this is a fun project for our congregation, so we hope there will be
plenty of apples and plenty of workers again this year. We are going to try to
make and sell 1,500 pies. We would like to have help picking apples - youth and
adults welcome. Members of the committee will help pick and supply the
equipment needed. We are planning on working twice a week and also some
evenings. If you would be available to help pick apples, please call Joyce
Emerson. Please watch the Sunday bulletins for announcements concerning work
times. We are hoping to get started the last half of August depending on when
the apples are available.
Be sure to get your orders in early for pies as
we are only going to have 1,200 pies available for sale before the Bazaar. We
will also have 300 pies available the day of the Bazaar.
